TWILA EMPEY SUITTER
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Twila Empey Suitter, 92, long-time Ammon resident, died April 5, 2006 at her home of causes incident to age.
She was born July 6, 1913, in Ammon, Idaho, to Alonzo Ernest Empey and Olive Adaline Mitchell. She attended Ammon schools graduating from Ammon High School May 16, 1930. She then attended LDS Business College.
She married Artell Suitter November 5, 1934 in Ammon and their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple January 4, 1946.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various positions in the Relief Society, Young Women and Primary organizations. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother, sewing, crocheting and cooking. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends at her home.

Brother: Ferron Empey, Idaho Falls
Sister: Lois Shelton, Idaho Falls
Sister: Leah Molen, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
32 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Artell, and four grandchildren, Shelly, Bryce and Hailee Watson and Cameron Suitter.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2006, at the Ammon LDS 2nd Ward, 2945 Selway, with Bishop James R. Flamm officiating.
The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and Monday for one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
