Truette Rhoda

Truette Tristan Rhoda, 15, of Ammon, passed away April 13, 2018, at Moab Regional Hospital in Moab, Utah, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Truette was born November 22, 2002, in Flagstaff, Arizona, to Jamie Rhoda and Elisha Brown Rhoda. The family moved to the Idaho Falls area where Truette was currently a Freshman at Bonneville High School. He enjoyed playing football, running track, and wrestling. He worked for Rizo’s Pizza, which is owned by his parents. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Truette loved life to the fullest with the kindest heart and always a smile. He loved spending time with his Mom, Dad, siblings and friends. He always enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing, hunting, hiking and motorbiking. He has a bright light in his spirit and is pure of heart. Truette is known as "True Blue" for being such a pure soul--always putting others first and making righteous choices, never waivering. He knows his Savior well and was welcomed with open arms. He is an active warrior in heaven watching over us and progressing His work. Truette’s middle name is Tristan after his Dad’s niece who passed away; he is with her now. Truette’s testimony and relationship with the Savior is so strong, and he was so close to the veil. He was called home early because he was needed as a strong warrior in heaven. Truette is survived by his parents, Jamie and Elisha Rhoda; sisters, Piper Rhoda (14) and Willow Rhoda (12); and brothers, Timbur Rhoda (12), River Rhoda (10), and Stryder Rhoda (5); all of Ammon, ID. He is also survived by his grandparents, Gerald and Marilyn Brown of Flagstaff, AZ, Walter and Shannon Rhoda of Camp Verde, AZ; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that love and adore him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Ammon LDS 24th Ward (3934 East 49th South). The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon), and on Thursday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
