Troy M. Smith - 11/07/2001 Troy M. Smith - 11/07/2001 TROY M. SMITH Troy Max Smith, 27, of Idaho Falls, died November 6, 2001, at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born October 9, 1974 at Rexburg to Max Glenn Smith and Karen Lee Jennings Smith. He grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Bonneville High School. He worked as a concrete finisher for Heavy Concrete in Idaho Falls as well as Tramar, Inc. in Boise.He was a volunteer at Good Samaritan and Life Care Center where he received the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed snowmobiling, snow skiing, riding bikes, camping, swimming, loved dogs and animals, but especially enjoyed being with his nieces and nephews and his friends. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2001, at the Idaho Falls LDS 32nd Ward (2349 Virlow), with Bishop Dave Anderson officiating. The family will meet with friends on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Iona Cemetery.
