Troy Finnigan

Troy Daniel Finnigan, 24, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 23, 2018, at his home in Idaho Falls. Troy was born December 21, 1993, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Sean Paul Finnigan and Julie Angele Fricke Finnigan. He was an enrolled member of the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Ft. Berthold Reservation in North Dakota. Troy grew up in California, graduated in 2012 from Roseville High School, and was an alumni of William Jessup University. He was on the Varsity Water Polo Team at RHS. He enjoyed computer building, video gaming, and studying the mechanics of automobiles. Locally, he attended Watersprings Church. Troy is survived by his parents, Sean and Julie Finnigan of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Heather (Zachary) Wiedeman of Folsom, CA; grandmother, Connie Finnigan of Idaho Falls, ID; ten aunts and uncles, thirty-four cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Orren W. Fricke; grandmother, Marmie P. Fricke; grandfather, Brian F. Finnigan; and cousin, Kristin M. Patrick. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Watersprings Church, 4250 South 25th East, with Pastor Gordon Boyle, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Watersprings Church, 4250 South 25th East, in Idaho Falls. Troy’s heart was to help any person in need. He was known to give to the homeless. He volunteered his time at local charities such as the Idaho Falls Community Food Basket, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore, as well as at the Idaho Falls Zoo. In lieu of flowers, you can honor him by giving wherever you see a need.
