Trevor David Peterson

Trevor David Peterson, 31, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away June 10, 2022.

Trevor was born July 29, 1990, in Idaho Falls. He was the first child, grandchild, and great grandchild, so, you can imagine the love and attention he received.

He attended and graduated from Shelley High School.

Trevor was a born athlete and loved sports. As a Senior, his team won state in football. His number one sport was baseball. Trevor was captain of the Shelley Varsity team and MVP his Senior year. As an adult, his attention turned to golf and fishing. Many hours were spent looking for the perfect fishing hole and fine tuning his swing.

After high school, Trevor traveled the United States selling security systems and became a top salesman. He worked as a welder for Premier Technology.  He also worked as a sider for All Seasons Construction with his brother, Tyler.  He was working for McCords Flooring at the time of his passing.

Trevor’s best friend was his dog, Ellie. She was his sidekick on all of his adventures.

If you knew Trevor, you know what a kind, loving, giving soul he was. His smile would light up a room. He truly cared for people. He took care of his Grandma Linda when her health declined and was with her when she passed in 2021. He had a heart of gold for people and animals.

Trevor’s passing has been a shock to all, and to say he will be missed is an understatement.

He is survived by his father, Shane (Val) Peterson of Idaho Falls; his mother, Kimberley May of Firth; brother, Tyler (Jessica) Peterson; and niece, Oakley of Shelley; step-sister’s Jennifer Seeley (Zack) of Poulsbo, WA and Jamie Seeley (Nathan) of Idaho Falls; and his best friend, Ellie.

There will be a celebration of life on July 29, 2022, (which would have been Trevor’s 32nd Birthday). Time and location to be announced.
