Trenton “Trent” Vern Jenkins, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 30, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Trent was born February 24, 1964, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Robert Lynn Jenkins and Connie Chambers Jenkins. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School.
On January 5, 2001, he married Vickie Jenkins in Blackfoot, Idaho. Trent and Vickie made their home in Idaho Falls where Trent worked as a concrete finisher for 35 years alongside his brothers.
He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and camping.
Trent held a strong will to help wherever he could. He was the kind of person you could count on any time of day or night. He would always have a snappy quip or pun to put a smile on your face. No matter how rough life got, Trent always managed a smile or helped others smile. It made his day to see someone else happy!
Trent is survived by his wife, Vickie Jenkins of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Skylar Lynn (Dani) Jenkins of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Nicole Koie Jenkins of Rigby, ID; step daughter, Liza Hill of CA; step daughter, Leslee (Joe) Martinez of Caldwell, ID; step daughter, Kaylyn (Damon) Garcia of Nampa, ID; step daughter, Kelsie Rowland of AZ; step son, Kenny (Broni) Rowland of Rigby, ID; brother, Terry (Neta) Jenkins of Mountain View, WY; brother, Kirk (Debbie) Jenkins of Idaho Falls, ID; and 21 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Connie Jenkins; brother, Quinn Jenkins; sister, Kendra Jenkins; and step dad, Keith Elg.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. Burial will be in the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery at 2 p.m. following the visitation.
