Treasa Sterger, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 22, 2015, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Treasa was born August 20, 1925, in Ririe, Idaho, to William Lewis Adamson and Ella Poole Adamson. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School.
On June 8, 1943, she married Clarence Shore in Rigby, Idaho. To this union were born 5 children, Sandra, Bill, Judi, Rocky and Jill. She and Clarence were later divorced. She married Ron Sterger in St. George, Utah and he preceded her in death. Treasa lived in Ririe, Idaho; Monterey Park, California; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and St. George, Utah. Treasa worked as a bookkeeper and owned and operated Second Hand Stores.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed doing temple work. She liked to travel, read, and sew.
Treasa is survived by her children; Bill Shore, Rocky (Karen) Shore, Jill (Cordell) Olsen, all of Idaho Falls and Judi (Larry) Phillips of Aberdeen, Idaho; brothers, Rex Adamson of Texas and Frank (Jean) Adamson of Idaho Falls; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers and sisters and a daughter, Sandi Barker.
A memorial service will be held at Ririe-Shelton Cemetery at a later date.
