Travis Simons Beebe

Travis Simons Matkin Beebe, 46, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 10, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Travis was born May 20, 1977, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Keith Russell Beebe and Debbie Simons Matkin. He grew up and attended schools in Rexburg and graduated from Madison High School. He also attended Boise State University and BYU-Idaho where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in University Studies, and minored in Business Management with an emphasis in English and Family Education.

On February 28, 1997, he married Jacqueline Susanna Chase in St. Anthony, Idaho. Travis and Jacqueline made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Travis worked as an Outside Sales Representative for Trimco Millwork.

He enjoyed shooting, reloading, BBQ-ing, kayaking, boating, and spending time with family.

Travis is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jacqueline Beebe of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Johnathon (Molly) Beebe of Nampa, ID; son, Logan Beebe of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kaitlyn Beebe of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Tina (James) Vining of West Blocton, AL; sister, Meranie (Brady) Karren of Heber, UT; brother, Chris Matkin of Kuna, ID; sister, Keili Beebe of St. Anthony, ID; brother, Brock (Autumn) Beebe of Etna, WY; mother, Debbie (Rod) Matkin of Ammon, ID; father, Keith (Belca) Beebe of Tooele, UT; and grandmother, DarLeen Simons of Ammon, ID.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stan Simons; grandparents, Robert and Regina Beebe; grandparents, Delmar and Rula Matkin; and cousin, Rob Frisby.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Archer-Sutton Cemetery.
