Tony Morris, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 16, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications of pneumonia and acute leukemia.
He was born October 16, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Tom and Anna Geist Morris. He grew up in Salt Lake City.
Tony served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. You may have bought a car from Tony, as he was a successful car salesman for 40 years.
On March 27, 1982, Tony married Barb, the love of his life. Together they raised their daughter Jennifer, whom he called his “Pidge.”
Tony enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, and he loved his dogs. If you believe in reincarnation, wish to come back as one of Tony’s dogs! He liked to make people laugh and could tell the same joke over and over – and it was funny every time. Some of his favorite times were spent with his family in Island Park and with his friends on the South Fork.
Tony is survived by
his Wife, Barbara Morris of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Michael Morris of Salt Lake City, UT; and
Daughters, Kelly Morris of Salt Lake City, UT; and
Jennifer Morris of Boise, ID.
He had three grandchildren: Danna, Christopher, and Russell;
and one great granddaughter, Ehleara.
A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012, at the Morris home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Tony’s honor to the Bonneville Humane Society at 444 N. Eastern Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID 83402; (208)529-9725; or http://bonnevillehumanesocietyif.com/.
