Tony Le - 04/17/2002 Tony Le - 04/17/2002 TONY LE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Trung Trong “Tony” Le, 47, of Idaho Falls, died April 15, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of a heart attack. He was born February 7, 1955, in Vietnam. He came to the United States from Vietnam as a refugee on one of the evacuation boats with the fall of Saigon during the Vietnam War. He received medical training in Vietnam, then graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He earned his Masters Degree in Idaho Falls. He married Ching “Jennifer” Chu June 1, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri. They made their home in Kansas City until coming to Idaho Falls 14 years ago. He worked as a medical intern in Vietnam, then was Quality Supervisor for Johnson Control in Kansas City after coming to the United States. He was an Electrical Engineer on instrumentation and control systems at the INEEL. He was a member of Alliance Covenant Church, where he was instrumental in organizing the men's and boy's groups and served on the library committee. He was a member of the Idaho Falls Russet Lions Club and was an active volunteer of the Kelly Canyon Development Racing Team that his son skied on. He loved to study and learn and always strived to increase his knowledge of God. He loved computers and spending time with his son, Ben. He was an amateur investor and enjoyed skiing, camping, fishing, archery, and cub scouts. Surviving are:Wife: Jennifer Le, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Benjamin Anthony "Ben" Le, Idaho Falls, IDalso a sister in Vietnam and a nephew in Seattle. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20, 2002, at the Alliance Covenant Church (557 South Boulevard), with Pastor Gary Goeschl officiating. The family will visit with friends at the church for one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Alliance Covenant Youth Group, 557 South Boulevard, Idaho Falls, ID 83401. The family requests no flowers.
