Tony Jenkins

Anthony "Tony" Lynn Jenkins, 44, of Kuna, passed away October 4, 2016, at his home. Tony was born August 30, 1972, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Larry Leroy Jenkins and Karen Yvonne Hillman. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Boise State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs. Tony made his home in Kuna, Idaho, where he met the love of his life, fiancé, Shelby Baldwin. Tony worked as an account and recruitment manager for Flextechs. Tony was affectionately known as "Nort" by his family. He loved the Boise State Broncos and the New York Yankees. Tony enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with Shelby. He also loved porch sittin’ with Shelby and the pups, Hooch and Sophie. He felt free and confident in the mountains. Placerville was his favorite trail. Tony absolutely loved all kinds of music and movies. He could make killer grilled tuna ‘sammiches’. Tony is survived by his fiancé, Shelby Baldwin and her two children, Mandy and Luke, of Kuna, ID; sister, Wendy (Jeff) Lawrence of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Lorraine Tullis of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Paul (Sandi) Jenkins of Firth, ID; brother, Troy (Cara) Jenkins of Cameron Park, CA; grandfather, Stan Bickel of Ammon, ID; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Mason; father, Larry Leroy Jenkins; grandmother, Noel Bickel; step-father, Brad Mason; nephew, Leo James Frandsen; and his Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2016, at the Idaho Falls LDS South Stake Center, 2051 South Emerson, with Bishop Dale Petersen officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.
