Tommy Clint Carlson, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away on April 23, 2012, at his home. He was born November 22, 1956, in Rexburg, Idaho to Clifford Clint Carlson and Mary Troy Carlson. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Madison High School. On June 11, 1976, he married Terri Williams in Evanston, WY. They were later divorced. He served as a Captain in the U. S. Army National Guard and was involved in recruiting and training. He was employed as a CNA at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and was working on achieving his L.P.N. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors are: Son: Brandon (Allisa) Carlson, Sugar City, ID Daughter: April (Ron) Drake, Hayden, ID Son: Douglas (Marsha) Carlson, Idaho Falls, ID Parents: Clint and Troy Carlson, Rexburg, ID Sisters: Aubrey Howell, ShaRee Carlson, and Mary Kim Williams 8 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Neldon & Agness Carlson and Roy & Elva Robison. A gathering will be held from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) in Idaho Falls.
