On Monday, January 22, 2018, Tom played his last round of video poker and went where every spin is 4 Aces and Jackpots never end. He was born in Bragg City, Missouri, to Alvin Lewallen and Ethyl Mae French. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and saw firsthand numerous atomic bomb testing. He enjoyed a long career in the nuclear industry. He had married and divorced prior to marrying the "love of his life," Connie V. Corsi, in 1996. When she passed away in 2010, he was never quite the same. If you had not met him in this life, it was your misfortune. Tom fiercely loved his family and friends. He will never be far and will live on through the tears and laughter and memories of those he left behind. He will be missed always. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bill, baby sister, Iva Jane, and love of his life, Connie. He is survived by his children, Tom (wife, Andrea) in Kansas, Kama (husband, Dennis) in Connecticut, Beth (husband, Wayne) in Idaho and Patti (husband, Brent) in Idaho. A memorial service will be held to celebrate and honor his life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, in Ammon, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, Tom requested donations be made to the men's shelter, City of Refuge, http://cityofrefugeatl.org/donate-to-city-of-refuge/ in his name.
