Click Here To View Memorial Video Kenneth Todd Hicks, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 4, 2015, at his home of natural causes. Surrounded by his loved ones, he was under their care with the help of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. Todd was born February 6, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Lloyd R. Hicks and Sharon Ann Noble Hicks. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. Following high school he served as a medic in the U. S. Army from 1979 to 1982, including Desert Storm. On May 16, 1979, he married his high school sweetheart, Rhonda Leigh Morgan, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union were born two children, Candice and Vanessa. Todd and Rhonda made their home in Idaho Falls, and Todd was the hard working Director of Operations for School District #93, dedicated to and genuine with all those he worked with, respecting every individual. He was a member and former Junior Warden of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, serving on the vestry. He enjoyed camping at Birch Creek, hunting and fishing. A concerned citizen, Todd was interested in helping forge a better community and ran for the Ammon City Council in 2009. The joy of his life was spending time with his five grandchildren, Kyler, Shelby, Camron, Hannah, and Jordan. Todd is survived by his loving wife of nearly 36 years, Rhonda Hicks of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Candice Leigh (Jeff) Henry of Idaho Falls, ID, daughter, Vanessa Sue Hicks of Idaho Falls, ID, brother, Lloyd Hicks of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Luke Hicks of Rigby, ID; brother, Kevin Dennis of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Kyle Dennis of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Kim Brown of Rigby, ID; sister, Elray Corino of Las Vegas, NV, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Brett Hicks and Kurt Hicks. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, March 9, 2015, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 270 N. Placer Avenue, with The Reverend Susan E. Speir officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard. The family suggests memorial donations be made in his name to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 270 N. Placer Avenue, Idaho Falls, ID 83402.
