Timothy Callendar

Timothy Alan Callendar, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away October, 31, 2012, in Fairfield at the home of his parents. He was born February 7, 1968, in Pomona, California, to Sunny Charline Callendar. He lived in Idaho Falls and attended school at Bonneville High School. He continued his education through the Job Core in Marsing, Idaho, and Skagit Valley Community College. He joined the U. S. Navy and served during Desert Storm and in Afghanistan and Iraq. Timothy was a Bomb Coordinator. He was awarded two NAMS (Navy Achievement Medals). He was stationed on the Kittyhawk during Operation Enduring Freedom, where the Navy for the first time ever operated from land and sea at the same time. He also received many other medals of recognition for his military service. Timothy lived in Idaho Falls for 34 years, Oak Harbor, Washington, for six years, and in Mt. Fugi, Japan for four years. He loved watching movies, fishing, camping and the water. He especially enjoyed spending time with his kids, whom he loved so much. Not only did he love his family, but they loved him immensely. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Idaho Falls. Timothy is survived by Daughter, Shae Callendar of Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Kylee (Mathew Crumpton) Callendar of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Cody Callendar of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Bryden Callendar of Oak Harbor, WA; Mother, Sunny Charline (Mark Alan) Tate of Fairfield, ID; Brother, Brian (Lisa) Luck of Salt Lake City, UT; His lifelong friend, Ronald Bowman, whom he considered his brother, of Idaho Falls, ID; 2 Grandchildren, Myah and Alijah, and a nephew, Ben Luck. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grady and Katie Terry. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Calvary Chapel, 4250 South 25th East, with Pastors Rick Brown of Calvary Chapel and Ron Geer of Fairfield officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
