THOMAS E. WARD SHELLEY, ID -- Thomas Eugene Ward, 24, of Shelley, died July 26, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident on Interstate 15 in Blackfoot. He was born September 26, 1979, at Idaho Falls, to Rodney Dwen Ward and Victoria Rae Byington Ward. He attended Ucon Elementary and later Bonneville High School. Following high school, he joined the Curly Washington Job Corps. On May 9, 2000, he married Laura Guse in Grangeville, Idaho. They were later divorced. He worked as a Journeyman Carpenter. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed electronics, model cars and trucks, and loved working on his car. Surviving are: Father: Rodney D. (Theresa) Ward, Idaho Falls, ID Mother: Victoria Rae Ward, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Ryker Ray David Ward, Idaho Falls, ID Stepson: Tristan River Owen Guse, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Charlie Don Ward, Idaho Falls, ID Stepbrother: Ken Curtis Kluksdal, Idaho Falls, ID Stepsister: Paula Lowdermilk, Blackfoot, ID Stepsister: Korie (Chad) Raymond, LA Stepsister: Nikki Gneiting, Idaho Falls, ID Grandparents: Dwen & Cora Ward, Shelley, ID Grandparents: Donald Byington, Ririe, ID He preceded in death by his grandmother, Lonni Byington. Graveside Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
