Thomas M. Sanford - 08/21/2001 Thomas M. Sanford - 08/21/2001 THOMAS M. SANFORD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Thomas Montgomery Sanford, 65, of Idaho Falls, died August 19, 2001, at his home. He was born September 15, 1935 in Decatur, Texas to David and Dorothy Lee Andrews Sanford. He grew up and attended schools in Alabama and attended Henry C. Conrad High School in Delaware. Following graduation from high school he attended the University of Delaware. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps on Embassy Duty in Bogota, Columbia, during the Korean Conflict. He married Mitzi Baker May 27, 1957 in Bogota, Columbia. They were later divorced. He married Sally Carolyn Thornton February 19, 1984 in Idaho Falls. He lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for 20 years, then moved to Idaho Falls, where he has resided for the past 14 years. He worked as salesman and sold playground equipment for many years. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He enjoyed all sports.
