IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Thomas "Tom" James Mitchell, 42, of Idaho Falls, died November 14, 2009, at his home.
Tom was born September 1, 1967, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Thomas R. Mitchell and Anna Naydean Covert. He was a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. He served as a Private in the Army.
He married Jacqueline Kuehn May 11, 1991, in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He worked as a salesman at several car dealerships in the area. He worked in the construction industry with Skidmore Construction and with his father in the roofing business. He owned and operated Rustic Mountain Homes, a construction company and Mitchell Motors where he sold motorcycle parts and accessories.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting and fishing; riding motorcycles and snow machines; and spending time outdoors. He loved and adored his two daughters, Erica and Morgan.

Numerous Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and mother, Naydean Chambers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home East Side Chapel, 963 S. Ammon Road, with Verle Landon officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m., with both visitations at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Shelley-Hillcrest Cemetery.

Morgan, T.R. and family, I am very sorry for the loss of your father, son. Tommie and I were good friends. He was very loved by my family and I will miss him very much.
