Theone Pappas Anderson, 79, of Ammon, passed away on November 13, 2014, at Beehive Homes of Spanish Fork, Utah, surrounded by her loving family.
Theone was born April 6, 1935, in Ogden, Utah, to George Zaraphes Pappas and Ethel Flitton Pappas. She attended schools in Logan, Utah, and then in Soda Springs, Idaho, where she graduated in 1954.
She married Rex Lynn Anderson on November 24, 1961, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on November 24, 1973. They lived in Pingree for 29 years, and then moved in 1997 to Shelley, where they resided for eight years – until it was time to move closer to town so they bought a townhome in Ammon the summer of 2005. She spent the last seven months in Spanish Fork, Utah.
In her earlier years, while raising her family, Theone worked night-shifts as a potato inspector for Simplot potato plant in Aberdeen. She then worked for Aberdeen School District as a School Bus Driver for many years before she retired. She was also a homemaker and mother and was always proud of her children.
Theone was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Beehive Advisor, Relief Society Counselor, Relief Society President, Visiting Teacher Supervisor and as a Visiting Teacher. Theone enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, tole painting, gardening, reading and playing with her grandchildren. She was a very hard worker and was always willing to help those around her.
