Theodore Louis Delezene Jr.

Theodore Louis Delezene Jr. was born to Theodore Louis Sr. and Gladys Delezene in Omaha, Nebraska, on August 10, 1933.

They moved to San Francisco, California, where Ted attended school and graduated high school. He joined the Air Force at the end of the Korean Conflict. After basic training in Texas, he was stationed in Reno, Nevada, where he trained as a flight mechanic. While in training, he met Roberta J. Knobel (deceased), married her, and they were happily together for the next 43 years.

After training school, he was stationed in Saudi Arabia. Berta stayed in Nevada and their first son was born in 1955 while Ted was in Saudi Arabia. When Ted returned to the States, he was stationed in Roswell, New Mexico. Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, they moved to San Francisco, California, where he had another son and two daughters. Ted lived in the Bay Area until his asthma forced him into a drier climate. Ted went to work for the Post Register in Idaho Falls as a printer until he retired.

After retiring, Ted and Berta sold their home, bought a fifth wheel travel trailer and hit the road. After several years of RVing full time, Berta was diagnosed with cancer. They returned to Idaho Falls where Roberta passed away under hospice care. Ted returned to the full-time RV life.

Eventually, he gave up his nomadic lifestyle and settled down with a woman in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He spent the rest of his years living in Prescott Valley during the summer and Quartzsite, Arizona, during the winter. On July 6, 2025, at the age of 91, he suffered a stroke and left this life July 12, 2025.

Ted enjoyed a long, happy life and he will be sorely missed by his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta; his daughter, Joyce; and his granddaughter, Jessica.

He is survived by his two sons, Ted (Debbie) Delezene, Denny Delezene, his daughter, Karen (Randy) Delezene-Briggs; his brother, Tim; his significant other, Linda; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

As per Ted's request, there will be no funeral services.
