Theodore "Skip" Dean Cline, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 12, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Skip was born December 7, 1943, in Lamar, Colorado, to Raymond Benjamin Cline and Vida Irene Knudsen Cline. He grew up in Holly, Colorado, and graduated from Holly High School. He joined the Navy in 1962 and was a Master Chief Petty Officer Electricians Mate.
On September 4, 1966, he married Beverly Donna Cline in Elko, Nevada. Skip and Beverly made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Skip worked as a Navy Officer. After retiring from the Navy he went on to work at RWMC at the INL.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, reading, gardening, swimming, liked watching "The ball games", spending time with his family, grandkids and great grandkids and going on trips to West Yellowstone.
Skip is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Donna Cline of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Kimberly Rae (Steve) Phillips of Hyrum, UT; brother, James Cline of Holly, CO; brother, Oliver (Tina) Cline of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Allen "Chip" (Penny) Cline of Colby, KS; three grandchildren, Ciera Clayton, Chantelle (James) Wood, and Christopher Phillips; and four great grandchildren, Lukas, Raegan, Remi, and Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vida Cline, and sister-in-law, Skeeter Cline.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home 273 North Ridge Avenue.
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
