Thelma McOsker - 05/05/2003 Thelma McOsker - 05/05/2003 THELMA A. MCOSKER IDAHO FALLS, ID - Thelma Agnes Parks Stears McOsker, 89, of Idaho Falls, died May 3, 2003 at the Idaho Falls Care Center. She was born August 21, 1913 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to James Williams Parks and Hazel Rena Holbrook Parks. She attended schools in Colorado Springs; Southerland, Utah; Emerson Elementary in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She married Len Taylor Stears on March 3, 1933 in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. She married Paul Delbert McOsker on March 14, 1970 in National City, California and he died July 7, 1996. She worked as a salesperson at JC Penny and Newberry's. She was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served as a visiting teacher. She was a member of the Riverdale Grange. She enjoyed crafts, paintings, birds, flowers and gardens. Surviving are:Son: DeLen Thomas (Lois) Stears, ShelleySon: Allen Lamont (Linda) Stears, Blackfoot, IDDaughter: Della Marie Goody, Nampa, IDSon: Van Wayne (Carma) Stears, Blackfoot, IDBrother: Morgan A. Parks, Idaho Falls, ID13 Grandchildren, 43 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James & Lewis Parks; 2 sisters, Francis Hillman & Lois Jacobsen; and 2 grandsons, Wade Stears and Shane K. Searle. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the services.
