Thelma was born July 18, 1928, in Shelley, Idaho, and passed away peacefully Wednesday April 18, 2012, at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls. Mother was the 9th child born to Angus Young and Esther Elizabeth Dutton Young. Butikofer, on March 5, 1948. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised nine children, Philip, Steven, Jo, Michael, Kevin, Kathie, Jill, Teresa and Gregory. Mom was a very proud wife and worked hard on the farm with Daddy for many years. She loved to sew and made many, many quilts that family and friends cherish. She lived a full and happy life, enjoying many outdoor activities, quilting, family reunions, and taking care of her husband, family and friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as President and Secretary in the Relief Society and as the Primary President. Mom is survived by her husband of 64 years, Preston H.
