Theda Duprey Gibas - 02/25/2002 Theda Duprey Gibas - 02/25/2002 THEDA DUPREY GIBAS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Theda Caroline Duprey Gibas, 84, of Idaho Falls, died February 23, 2002, at Life Care Center. She was born November 4, 1917, at Millers Falls, Massachusetts, to Teofie Kowalewski and Josefa Pinowakewski Kowalewski. She spent her early years in Massachusetts and attended school there. She married Edward Gibas April 19, 1952, in the Polish Catholic Church at Turners Falls, Massachusetts. He passed away in 1973. She was a homemaker and mother. In her younger years she worked as a hairdresser and had her own beauty shop. She loved to cook and sew and kept a wonderful home for her family. Surviving are:Daughter: Susan [Larry] Coon, Portland, ORDaughter: Patricia [C. L.] Hiatt, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Pauline Litskoski, MA 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great GrandchildrenShe was preceded in death by her husband. Burial will be next to her beloved husband in the Federal Street Cemetery in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
