Thania Resendiz-Ramirez

Thania Resendiz-Ramirez, 23, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 4, 2018, at her home. Thania was born March 15, 1995, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Urbano Resendiz-Chavez and Maria Asuncion Ramirez Acosta. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She also attended Vogue Beauty College and earned her Cosmetology License. She worked for FlyGuys Haircuts in Idaho Falls. She also owned her own photography business called Urban R Photography, which she named after her father. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, videography, photography, graphic design and dancing. Thania had a big heart and was always eager to help people where she could. She never failed to put a smile on people’s faces with her contagious laugh. Thania is survived by her father, Urbano Resendiz-Chavez of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Maria Asuncion Ramirez Acosta; sister, Edith Resendiz-Ramirez; sister, Abigail Resendiz-Ramirez of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Diana Resendiz-Ramirez of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Maria Resendiz-Ramirez of Charlotte, NC; brother, Luis Resendiz-Ramirez of Idaho Falls, ID; grandfather, Arnulfo Ramirez-Resendiz; grandmother, Dionicia Acosta Vega; grandfather, Amador Resendiz Franco; grandmother, Carolina Chavez Lopez. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Damian Khalil Resendiz-Ramirez. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
