Terry Wedin

TERRY WEDIN IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Terry Dwaine Wedin, 55, passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 from cancer at the home of his sister in Idaho Falls. He was born September 1, 1953 in Gridley, California to Dwaine Enoch Wedin and Ida Fay Winters Wedin. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Gridley High School. Before moving to Challis, he spent most of his life in and around Gridley, working mostly as a mechanic for Gridley Ranchers and performing carpentry work on the side. Terry has resided in Challis for the past several years. He enjoyed playing pool and poker and fishing. He also enjoyed going uptown to listen to the local bands on the weekends. He is survived by one son, Travis F. Wedin of Gridley, California; his mother, Ida Fay Womack, who he lived with for the past few years in Challis; one sister, Janice Devine, formerly of Challis and now residing in Idaho Falls; one younger brother, Timothy Waine Wedin and his wife Peggy, of Gridley, California; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was cremated under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Ave. He will be laid to rest at the Gridley, Californa Cemetery next to his father Dwaine Enock Wedin and brother, Robert "Bobby" Ray Wedin who preceded him in death.
