Terry Lee Waid

Terry Lee Waid, 56, of Ammon, passed away September 2, 2022, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.

Terry was born December 1, 1965, in Long Beach, California, to Gerald Dean Waid and Dawnel Justesen Waid. When he was 6 years old, the family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where he grew up and attended schools. He graduated from Bonneville High School.

Terry lived in Idaho Falls his whole life and worked as a carpenter, building furniture and cabinets.

He enjoyed tying flies and fishing, the outdoors, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, gardening, and woodworking.

Terry is survived by his son, Tanner Waid of Idaho Falls; grandson, Abel Waid of Idaho Falls; parents, Gerald and Dawnel Waid; sister, Lynda (DelRay) John of Victor, ID; and 5 loving nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Dean Waid.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
