Terry Wallace Padgen, 45, of Ammon, Idaho, beloved dad, son, brother, uncle, and best friend to many, passed peacefully May 10, 2017, surrounded by his family. Born May 1, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah, along with his twin sister, Keri, he was the son of Anthony John "Tony" Padgen and Cheryle Christine Watson Padgen. Terry grew up and attended schools in Boise and Idaho Falls, and graduated from Idaho Falls High school in 1991. On July 20, 1996, he married Tiffany Christensen. They had two sons, Brenden Anthony, born February 6, 1998, followed by Masen Swede, born March 2, 2001. Terry and Tiffany later parted ways, and remained friends until the end. They made a great parenting team for their boys. Terry was so proud of his boys and loved them unconditionally. He never missed a football game, whether home or away, and was always there to help on the sidelines. He always supported his boys’ football with stickers on his truck. Terry and his boys had a unique bond that only the three of them would understand. Terry’s sense of humor was one of a kind. He had a joke and one-liner for everything, even throughout his final days. Everyone he came in contact with was instantly drawn to him. His smile was infectious. He loved Boise State, Rodeo, NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Everyone who knew him was a better person for it. Terry was loving and caring and was always ‘there’ for those he loved. He was loved and will be missed by so many, and never forgotten. Terry worked for Keyline Automotive for twenty three years. He loved his customers and they loved him. He also worked for Bonneville County in their road and bridge department for four years. Survivors include his two sons, Brenden and Masen; boys’ mom, Tiffany; his mom, Cheryle Padgen; three sisters, Laurie (Gary) Wyatt, Shanda Louie, and Keri Padgen; two brothers, Chuck Padgen and David Padgen; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Brandi and Miranda; great nieces and nephews, Morgan, Brylee, Owen, and Grayson, and one on the way; two step children, Whitney and Jonathan, that he loved and thought the world of; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He’s also survived by his best friends that he considered brothers, Shane, Brandon, Kenny, Kip, Mike, Jeremy, Cory, Larry, Robin, Justin, Jamey, Mike, Don, Paul, Cody, Carl, and Dana. Too many to list! But you know who you are, and know Terry loved you all. Terry was preceded in death by his dad, whom he always missed, and his grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Idaho Falls Elks Lodge, 640 East Elva. The family requests memorial donations to an education fund for his sons through Wood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 51434, Idaho Falls, ID 83405-1434, or online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
Fly high with the angels, You will never be forgotten And in our hearts forever, Long before you take this cowboy’s hat.
