Terry Jule Johnson, 65, of Shelley, passed away January 24, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born November 21, 1946, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Emil LeRoy Johnson and Verla Mae Clay Johnson. He grew up and attended schools in the area, graduating from Bonneville High School.
On September 19, 1968, he married Dora L. Portela in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later divorced. On June 21, 1997, he married Marlena Weekes in Coltman, Idaho. He worked as a carpenter and maintenance technician. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Terry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, four wheeling, and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Johnson; two sisters, Lilas Hunter and Aloha Gaye Beard; a sister-in-law, Sarah Johnson, and four brothers-in-law, Walt Hunter, Eldon Cunningham, Jesse Costello, and Jerold Gardner.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS Sandcreek Third Ward, 3700 East Lincoln Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
