Terri Lee Schmier Johnson, 65, of Ammon, passed away July 18, 2017, at her home.
Terri was born February 10, 1952, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Delbert LeRoy Schmier and Charleen Josephine Lee Schmier. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School.
She married Tom Ward, with whom she had two children, Doug and Mike. They were later divorced.
On November 10, 1978, she married Brian Kay Johnson at Trinity United Methodist Church in Idaho Falls. Terri and Brian made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Terri worked as a book keeper for H&K, Skidmores, Martin Stationers, Logan Farm Equipment, and Atlas.
Terri was a Christian. She enjoyed crocheting, camping and fishing. She loved her grandchildren and her dogs.
Terri is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Brian Johnson of Ammon, ID; son, Doug Ward of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Mike (Kristi) Ward of Idaho Falls, ID; stepdaughter, Melissa Raichart of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Joe (Janis) Schmier of Columbia Falls, MT; sister, Cindy (Ron) Bell of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Tammy (Carl) Williams of Idaho Falls, ID; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Schmier and Charleen Schmier, a brother, Mike Lee, and a grandson, Brandon Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, with Jon Wood officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both times at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
