Terri Lyn Beesley, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 2, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of Eden Hospice.
Terri was born May 14, 1961, in Rigby, Idaho, to James Erron Bird and Eva Shirlene Bodily Bird. She grew up and attended schools in Iona and graduated from Bonneville High School. She enjoyed playing basketball in high school. She also attended Ricks College and Idaho State University.
On January 20, 1982, she married William Chris Beesley at Jim and Shirlene Bird's home. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on January 20, 1983. Terri and William made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, until moving to Blackfoot where Terri began working as a Special Ed Teacher for Blackfoot School District.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed riding horses, puzzles, reading, camping, grandkids, and family reunions.
Terri is survived by her husband, William Chris Beesley of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Shirlene Bird of Iona; daughter, Christa Klein of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Amber Tracy of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Scott (Tonya) Bird of Iona, ID; brother, Brett (Marilee) Bird of Milo, ID; brother, Brian Bird of Pocatello, ID; sister, Lisa (DeLon) Walker of Wieser, ID; sister, Karen Stephens of Gilbert, AZ; 5 grandchildren, and one great grandson on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Erron Bird, and sister-in-law, Becky Bird.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Idaho Falls Stake Center, 1155 1st Street, with Bishop Brian Schultz officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
