Terresa Jean Wiggins, 41, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 4, 2011 in Idaho Falls after many years of fighting a life long illness. Terresa was born December 1, 1969 in Spokane, Washington to Peggy and Ron Wiggins. Her big brother Mike also welcomed her home. Terresa moved to Salmon, Idaho in 1984, where she met many friends and family. She graduated Salmon High School (Bridgeview) in 1988. Terresa was not supposed to live past the age of 12, but she was such a determined person that she showed us all. Her daughters Sierra “Sam” and Tilena “T.J.” were her life and what she lived for. They were her morning, afternoon, evening, stars, moon, sunshine – her everything! She was also blessed with her granddaughter, Saphira Wiggins. Terresa was determined to wait for her arrival and make sure that Saphira knew who her grandma was. Terresa touched everyone she came in contact with. If you needed something, she was there. Along with her kindness and giving spirit also came a temper and determination. If you messed with her family, she would let you know. We will all miss her loud snort/laugh that made us all laugh when we were around her. She wanted everybody to make sure that we will keep her memory alive and remind her daughters and granddaughter of how much she loved them. Terresa felt badly if she ever thought she had hurt anyone in any way. She spent her last few days apologizing to everyone. Terresa is survived by her daughter Sierra “Sam” (Ben) Wiggins and granddaughter Saphira Wiggins of Nampa, ID; daughter Tilena J. Langston of Idaho Falls; mother Peggy (Clay Stephanistion) Wiggins of Elk Bend, ID; father Ron (Shelby) Wiggins of Tennessee; brother Mike Wiggins of Kettlefall, WA; sisters Jamie Hatch and Carrie Hatch of Vernal, UT; Tracy Park of Idaho Falls; Robyn Griffith of Idaho Falls; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 2007. A memorial fund has been set up at Wells Fargo in the name of Sierra S. “Sam” Wiggins to help offset hospital bills and funeral costs. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.woodfuneralhome.com.
