Terrel Norman Niederer

Terrel Norman Niederer, 72, of Rigby, passed away September 2, 2026, at his Home. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice.

Terry was born August 5, 1954, in Rigby, Idaho, to Norman Niederer and Vadis Leola Hardy Niederer. He grew up and attended schools in Archer, Idaho. Afterward, Terry served in the United States Army.

On July 8, 1995, he married Cynthia Lynn Gunerud in Rexburg, Idaho. Terry and Cindy made their home in Rigby, where Terry worked as a truck driver for different companies for 47 years.

He enjoyed scuba diving, cars and being with family.

Terry is survived by his wife, Cindy Niederer of Rigby, ID; children, Joshua Niederer, Tara Decker, and Brad (Maria) Knibbs; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Leola Niederer; and sons, Courtney Niederer and Kevin Fox.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
