Teresa Rhoades

Teresa Ann Rhoades, 56, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 7, 2016, at her home. She was under the care of Abode Hospice and Home Health.

Teresa was born July 8, 1959, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to August Wilford Rhoades and Pauline Evelyn Mathiesen Rhoades. She grew up and attended Emerson Elementary and Central High School. Teresa made her home in Idaho Falls.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, camping, rock collecting, and anything to do with the outdoors. She loved animals. She loved her family and living a simple life. She had a fun loving free spirit.

Teresa is survived by her son, John Paul (Rachele) Barrus of Ammon, ID; mother, Pauline Rhoades of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Steven (Paulette) Rhoades of Paulsbro, WA; sister, Roberta Rhoades Hall of Idaho Falls, ID; and 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, August Wilford Rhoades, and her brothers, Jimmy Rhoades and Paul Rhoades.

A memorial gathering will be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
