Teresa Gormley

On February 2, 2017, Teresa Ann Rambo Gormley left this life to be in the arms of her mother, father, brother, and our Lord, of whom she loved dearly. Terry was born May 7, 1951, in Riverside, California, to Albert Rambo and Winona Standish Rambo. She grew up and attended schools in Riverside and graduated from Rubidoux High School. She also attended Riverside Community College. On July 12, 1975, she married Gerald Lee "Jerry" Gormley in Tustin, California. To this union were born two sons, Jerrod and Cody. Terry was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a very adventurous and outgoing woman. She worked as an accountant at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and her dedication to her work led her to a successful retirement after 36 years. Upon retirement, she sought out to spend her open time tending to her hobbies of reading, the outdoors, camping, travel, gardening, and spending time with her family. Her overwhelming love and affection touched all of those that she met. In 2005, Terry was diagnosed with cancer. She fought the treacherous disease and, after several months of fighting, she won. She led a healthy and cancer-free life for many years. In late 2016 the cancer returned, to which this time the fight wasn’t successful. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Gormley; two sons, Jerrod Gormley and Cody Gormley; sister, Myra Sherman; brother, Jerry Rambo; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Leslie Rambo and Winona Henrietta Standish Rambo, and a brother, Albert "Buz" Rambo. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the You Caring Fundraiser that has been set up by the family at https://www.youcaring.com/jerrygormleysaintjudes-751927 for excess medical expenses.
