Teresa Gentle

Teresa Lynn Gentle, 55, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 4, 2016, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Teresa was born August 5, 1960, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Reed Bowen and Beverly Sommer Bowen. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. On November 25, 1979, she married Dan Gentle in Idaho Falls and they have been inseparable ever since. Shortly after they were married, they moved to Wasilla, Alaska. They lived in Wasilla for three and a half years where their daughter, Tasha, was born. They moved back to Idaho Falls, where their son, Luke, was born. Tasha married Kris Taylor and they added three grandchildren to the family. Teresa loved being a grandma. Teresa worked as a Private Banker for Wells Fargo and her clients loved her. Teresa was with Wells Fargo for 30 years. She loved camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and hiking. Teresa loved the outdoors and nature. She was full of life and intense energy. Teresa is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dan Gentle of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tasha (Kris) Taylor of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Beverly Bowen of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Luke Gentle of Boise, ID; husband's parents, Jay and Margaret Gentle of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Reed (Mary) Bowen of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Crystal (Mark) Dwyer Hansen of Orange County, CA; sister, Stephanie (Scott) Jorgensen of Coeur d’Alene, ID; sister, Melissa (Evan) Hathaway of Boise, ID; sister, Janell Bowen of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Eric (Toli) Bowen of Chandler, AZ; sister, Allison Bowen of Claremont, CA; brother, Brian (Marci) Bowen of Vancouver, WA; and three grandchildren; Hogan, Grace and Charly. She was preceded in death by her father, Reed Bowen. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue, with Teresa's sister, Crystal Dwyer Hansen, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 1-1:45 p.m. prior.
