Teresa Ann Facer, 57, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 27, 2015, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from a heart attack.
Teresa was born July 30, 1957, in Rigby, Idaho, to Cleone Thorpe Facer and Harriet “Alice” Gardner Facer, at the Rigby Maternity Hospital. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended the Child Development Center, Development Workshop, Joshua Smith, Riverside, and was currently attending Journeys.
Teresa made her home in Idaho Falls her entire life. She worked in the laundry at EIRMC for 20 years, and recently received an award for the many hours she had contributed. After Teresa’s mom and dad passed away, she and her sister, Maxilyn, (whom she had always lived with and loved dearly) lived with their sister, Gayle and her family from 1992-1996 when Gayle passed away.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved going to church, especially Relief Society. She enjoyed Special Olympics, bike riding, dancing, singing, playing ball, helping other people, looking at her scrapbooks, and swinging her buddy, Dominique.
Teresa is survived by her sisters, Karen Church of Saratoga Springs, UT; Maxilyn Facer of Idaho Falls, ID; and Gaylene George of Grant, ID; many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; care providers and second family, Brett and Judy Haddon, and their children, Danny, Nick, Riley, Jenna, Jacob, and Dominique, who lovingly cared for her for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gayle Anderson.
