Teran Hurley

Biography

Teran Dean Hurley, 18, of Ammon, Idaho, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, from complications of a heart condition. Teran was born March 19, 1994, in Simi Valley, California, the son of Troy Dean Hurley and Kimberely Anne Holder Hurley. He lived in Rigby and Ammon during his childhood. Teran attended Ammon Elementary, Sandcreek Junior High, Hillcrest High School, and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 2012. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Life Scout, received the Arrow of Light, and was an assistant camp counselor at Pine Basin. Teran worked at Center Partners and was promoted early because of his technical skills. His hobbies included photography, computers, long boarding, and snow boarding. Teran longed to serve in the military, but was unable to because of a heart condition. He loved technology, animals, and most importantly, his family and friends. He was so full of life and everyone loved him. He was very kind, helpful, and polite to all those who came in contact with him. Survived by His parents of Ammon; Sister: Alexis Kimberly Hurley of Ammon; Brother: Gregory Trey Hurley of Ammon; Grandparents: Brenda and Brad Holder of Rigby Grandmother: Sandy Holder of Rigby Grandfather: Dale Hurley of Idaho Falls Grandparents: Richard and Sheryl Lidyard of Ammon He was preceded in death by his uncles, Shane Hurley and Greg Holder. Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Ammon LDS Crestwood Church, 1925 East 49th South. The family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road, and Thursday at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

Friday January 4, 2013 , 11:00 a.m. at Idaho Falls LDS Crestwood Ward

The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Thursday for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
