Teddy "Ted" Jones

Teddy Lamar Jones, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away on September 21, 2012, at his home. He was born on July 14, 1939, in Driggs, Idaho to Elmer Jones and Eva Jemmett Jones. He grew up in the area and attended Victor High School. On July 15, 1960, he married Sandra Kay Gneiting in Basalt, Idaho. They moved to Idaho Falls where he has since resided. Ted was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and especially loved spending time with his family. Survivors are: Wife: Sandra Jones, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Candace Jones (Claudio) Monteiro, Castlerock, CO Son: Todd Jones, Salt Lake City, UT Daughter: Danielle Jones, Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Melvin (Ellen) Jones, Shelley, ID Brother: Jewel (Pat) Jones, Etna, WY Sister: Connie Rogers, Alabama Brother: Boyd Jones, Firth, ID Brother: Blaine (Claudia) Jones, Shelley, ID Brother: Randy (Diane) Jones, Boise, ID 6 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 siblings, Joyce Jones, Jerry Jones, Faye Taylor, Brent Jones, and Gordon Jones; and a grandson, Brady. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Idaho Falls LDS Brentwood Ward (2040 Brentwood). The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and on Wednesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
