TED E. BUTT
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Ted Edward Butt, 79, of Idaho Falls, passed away November 25, 2006, at his home.
He was born October 30, 1927, in Teton, Idaho, to John Edward Butt, Jr. And Margaret Ann Misseldine Butt. His mother died when he was two years old and while his father had a large part in his life, he lived with and was raised by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Grace Misseldine. He attended Madison County Schools, graduated from Madison High School, and attended Ricks College. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion.
He married Sarah Wanda Baker August 18, 1955, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised their family in Idaho Falls, where they have lived the past 50 years. He was employed at the INEL Site by Westinghouse for 35 years.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed stamp collecting, reading, camping, studying history, and spending time with his family, especially grandchildren, Steven, Thomas, Sarah, Danielle and Cameron.

Son: Alan Baker (Kitty) Butt, Orem, UT
Daughter: Margaret Marie (Hubert) Quade, Lewisville, ID
5 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at the Idaho Falls 22nd Ward, 12th and Juniper, with Bishop Dan Perkins officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and one hour before services Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in the Teton City Cemetery where military rites will be performed by the Madison County Veterans Team. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
