Tara Nichole Purcell-Utterbeck, 38, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 26, 2014, peacefully.
Tara was born June 11, 1976, a beautiful beam of light that blessed all who knew her for 38 years. She was born to Michael Everett Purcell and Kay Ann Robinson Purcell, a delightfully tardy gift to her four older siblings Robert, Tami, Daniele & Jerry. She was doted upon by her siblings and never lost that closeness (which we figured was part of her problem). She danced, played softball, and trained her pony. She grew up and attended Bonneville High School and graduated from Skyline High School. Tara later attended Stevens-Henager College in Idaho Falls and attended school to become a Master Gardener. She had a love for flowers and beauty, and a tender heart for her precious little animals.
She married Keith Utterbeck in 1994 and produced a beautiful red-headed boy. Four years later came a darling blonde son. A good time was then had by all!
Tara worked at AMWTP in the human resources department. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, volunteered at the Colorado Zoo while living in Pueblo, and served at the soup kitchen in Idaho Falls.
Tara was blessed with a giving, generous heart and was always looking for opportunities to help people and encourage others in all that they did. She never judged people, was forgiving and understanding of all, no matter what the circumstances. She had a vivacious, sweet personality that people found themselves attracted to. She adored her sons and loved spending family time with them along with all their crazy cousins.
Tara will be missed by her two sons, Anthony Alan Utterbeck and Nicholas Ryan Utterbeck.
