Tanna Spencer

Tanna Lee Spencer, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 15, 2017, at her mother’s home in Iona, Idaho. Tanna was born August 13, 1956, in Rigby, Idaho, to Ervin Henry Spencer and Kae Waldean Williams Spencer. She grew up in Swan Valley, Idaho, and attended elementary schools in Irwin, Idaho. She graduated from Bonneville High School. In 1975, she was blessed with a child, Travis, with Dennis Bates. In 1993, she married Boyd Woodruff in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were blessed with one son, Tyson. Tanna and Boyd were later divorced. She made her home in Idaho Falls, where she worked as a manager for the Road Runner Store. She enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, and raising her grandkids. Tanna is survived by her son, Travis D. (Stephine) Spencer of Rigby, ID; mother, Kaye W. Spencer of Iona, ID; sister, Renea Colvin of Iona, ID; brother, Ervin Kent (Penny) Spencer of Roy, UT; grandchildren, Todd, Bridgette, T.J., Ambrosia, Rorie, Journie, Braden, and Alex; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Henry Spencer; son, Tyson Boyd Spencer; and brother, Elvin Thomas Spencer. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Travis and Stephine’s home, 527 N. 3950 E., Rigby, ID 83442.
