Tammy (Getsinger) Landon

Tamara Kay Landon, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 1, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Terreton, Idaho. She was under the care of her loving family and Brio Home Health and Hospice.

Tammy was born December 23, 1957, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Robert Keith Getsinger and Shirley Lou Garland. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and later earned her GED.

On July 16, 1979, she married Jerry D Landon in Idaho Falls. Tammy and Jerry made their home in Idaho Falls where they raised their children, Crystal and Ethan. Tammy and Jerry divorced in 1999.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her cat, Tuffy, and her kids and grandkids.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Leo) Twitchell of Terreton, ID; son, Ethan C. Landon of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter-in-law, KaDee Pena of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Debbie Ford of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Steve (Raschel) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; stepmother, Karol Getsinger of Rigby, ID; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Merry Covington and Karen Austin.

A Celebration of Tammy’s Life will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Kate Curley Park, 300 9th Street, in Idaho Falls.
