Tamla “Tamie” Rencher, 74, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 6, 2026, at her home surrounded by family members. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Tamie was born May 17, 1952, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to Benjamin Jay Rencher and Louise Burbidge Rencher. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. She also graduated from BYU and Creighton University with a DDS.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Relief Society, Young Womens, and Primary Presidents. She served a mission to the Carolinas, and was an ordinance worker in the Idaho Falls Temple. Her passion was serving others and her family.

Tamie is survived by her brother, Craig Jay (Connie) Rencher of Twin Falls, ID; brother, Mark Burbidge Rencher of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Melany (Michael) Gard of Riverton, WY; brother, Trent G (Diane) Rencher of Poulsbo, WA; brother, Stacy Lynn (Patti) Rencher of Roy, UT; sister, Ceri Rencher of Spanish Fork, UT; and brother, Lance Greg (Laura) Rencher of Poulsbo, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Jay and Louise Rencher; and sister-in-law, Karen Halverson Rencher.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Mountain View Ward, 1450 Mountain View Lane. The family will visit with friends from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Inurnment will be in Fielding Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Humanitarian Relief Fund of the LDS Church.
