Tamera Lee Foster Rogers, 59, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2018, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Tami was born September 3, 1958, in Arcadia, California, to Dale McDon Foster and Jacquelyn Mildred Peterman Foster. She grew up and attended schools in Temple City, California, and graduated from San Gabriel High School in 1977. She also attended Pasadena City College where she earned her associate’s of nursing degree (LVN).
On March 21, 2008, she married Robert "Scott" Rogers in Idaho Falls. Tami and Robert made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Tami worked as a caretaker nursing disabled adults.
She was a member of the Community of Christ (formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). She was a docent at the Museum of Idaho. She enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit with family and friends. If you were lucky enough to be on her team, you were pretty sure of a win.
Tami is survived by her loving husband of nine years, Scott Rogers of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Jacquelyn Mildred Stringer of Goshen, ID; sister, Terryl Lois (Victor) Bruun of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Danise Allyn (Kurt) Remmenga of Fort Collins, CO.
She was preceded in death by her son, Laurence Abshire and her father, Dale McDon Foster.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at The Museum of Idaho, 200 North Eastern Avenue. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery at a later date.
