Tamera "Tammy" Humpherys

Tamera Kay "Tammy" Humpherys, 52, of Menan, passed away June 28, 2011, at the home of her sister, Verna Thorngren. She was born September 5, 1958, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Robert Thomas Humpherys and Wilma Isabel Taylor Humpherys. She grew up and attended schools in the area. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tammy enjoyed singing and loved spending time with nieces and nephews and with her dog, Buddy. Survivors are: Sister: Verna (LaMont) Thorngren, Menan, ID Sister: Martha “Marti” Dole, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Linda (Dall Ray) Lake, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Gail Oswald, Boise, ID Sister-in-law: Linda Humpherys, Idaho Falls, ID and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bobby Humpherys; and two nieces, Cindy Carter and Kelly Larsen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the services, both at Wood East Side. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
