SYBIL COX
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Sybil Coy Cox, 81, of Ammon, longtime
businesswoman of Idaho Falls, passed away May 24, 2004, at her home. She
was under the care of The Aspen Foundation for Hospice Care.
She was born August 8, 1922, at Bedford, Wyoming, to
Lester J. Coy and Harriet Lallathin Coy. She grew up in the Star Valley
area of Wyoming and attended schools there.
She was married to Merle Kenneth Cox for 36 years and
their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 5,
2001. They made their home in the Idaho Falls area, where she was a homemaker
and mother and owned and operated "Sybil's Café" for
48 years. Merle passed away February 21, 2000.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed cooking, being with the family, and sitting on her
porch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Merle, and three
brothers, Ralph, Jack, and LaRell Coy.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May
26, 2004, at the Ammon LDS 13th Ward, corner of Township & Ammon Roads,
with Bishop Richard Powell officiating.
The family will visit with friends Wednesday for one
hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
