Biography

Carolyn ‘Sue’ Wise, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her home. Sue was born July 25, 1947 in Hamilton, Ohio to William E. Hamblin and Katherine Hamblin. She grew up and attended school in Ohio. Sue lived in Star Valley, Wyoming for 27 years before moving to Idaho Falls in 2000. On May 27, 1988 she married Ben C. Wise in Jackson, Wyoming. To that union , she brought two daughters, Cathy and Jennifer. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Sue assisted her husband with his construction, remodeling, restoration work and accounting. Sue loved life, her horse club and was an active 4-H leader in Star Valley, Wyoming. Sue enjoyed hunting, fishing, fast cars and especially spending time with her husband, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband Ben of 26 years, daughter, Cathy Schwab of Ammon, ID daughter, Jennifer Gunter of Huntsville, AL grandchildren, Ricki Sue Schwab, Tyler J. Schwab, Makenzi Paoli, Madisen Molitor and 3 great-grandchildren, Daniel, Max, Korbin. Sue was preceded in death by her parents and her sister. A Gathering will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. May 1, 2014 at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). Any donations made to the funeral home to help with funeral costs would be a blessing and an answer to our family’s prayers.
