Steven Donald Saville, 67, of Ammon, passed away July 27, 2018, at his home.
Steve was born June 27, 1951, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Virgil Donald Saville and Donna Carrie Saville. He grew up and attended schools in Pocatello until the family moved to Idaho Falls in 1966. He graduated from Bonneville High School.
Steve and Annette LaRee Harding met through friends and on June 27, 1975, they were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. To this union was born one daughter, Sareena. Steve worked at Capitol Body and Fender as a painter, then at his father-in-law’s business, Ivan’s Machine Shop, and then Gas-n-Grub for about 42 years, where he became the manager for Marv Olson.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a life-long Home Teacher. He enjoyed camping, fly fishing, mowing his yard, tinkering on his phone, and teasing others.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Annette Saville of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Sareena (Jared) Gillespie of Rupert, ID; sister, Sheryl (Dennis) Ure of American Falls, ID; sister, Karen Saville of Middleton, ID; sister, Candace (Raleigh) Moore of Kuna, ID; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Saville of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Kim Long of Middleton, ID; grandson, Brennan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Saville, mother, Donna Saville, and sister, Donna Kay Saville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at the Ammon LDS 9th Ward, 4030 John Adams Parkway, with Bishop Jade Dye officiating. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
