Steven Paul

Steven Dale Paul, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 5, 2018, at his home. He was under the care of his loving family and Solace Hospice. Steven was born December 21, 1945, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Homer William Paul and Edna Matilda Hansen Paul. He grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School. He also attended Idaho State University. On September 26, 1969, he married Linda Dyer in Blackfoot, Idaho. They were blessed with three children, Ryan, Deena and Matthew. Linda passed away on August 7, 2010. Steven married Jeni Lyn Fisher on November 12, 2014, in Idaho Falls. Steven and Jeni made their home in Idaho Falls, where Steven worked as a security supervisor for the INL. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and fast cars. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Jeni Lyn Paul of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Ryan (Krissandra) Paul of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Deena (Rodney) McArthur of Meridian, ID; son, Matthew (September) Paul of Nampa, ID; brother, Brice (Linda) Paul of Cedar City, UT; sister, Sheryl Paul of Blackfoot, ID; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and first wife, Linda. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Idaho Falls LDS Kearney 1st Ward, 1860 Kearney, with Bishop Blaine Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
